Shattering all 7 of the Emeralds by force would've destroyed the entire city they're fighting in... However, if this was lore accurate, the blasts wouldn't have been strong enough to do so

It didn't make me angry, mainly cause I think it was clever how Sonic's base form and all his power ups won the day, but don't think it would take THAT long to transform.

When I first saw this I thought the princesses had this in the bag with their power ups ges showtime wouldn't matter a difference

the fact that you think solid snake has used decoys or the fulton extraction device makes me think you dont know what you're talking about. on top of that you have to look at raiden and what all he's done (being a lightning timer, and who he beat in his own game) he even stated himself that hes no match for solid snake. if you take that into account its closer than you give it credit for, besides the fact joker cant use his personas in a cognitive space so thats he couldnt use it against snake, once again an ass pull. on top of the voice acting this video was trash as snake would say "you're (not) pretty good" Edit. The fact you listed several things snake has like chaff grenades and he didnt get to use them yeesh bad video You didn't even Give him his infinite ammo or his stealth camo, again you dont know what you're talking about. Do you really think he would just go for a frontal attack, snake is a master of stealth he would use his sniper rifle and the fight would be over. Yikes

It’s a good concept and it looks really nice, but in all due respect I do get why it’s disliked. Fox has no motive to destroy his objective, which was apparently important enough to snipe a man for. Especially since your own verdict states that Super Sonic was less of a threat than base

I was a bit confused by this scene since we've never seen the chaos emeralds get destroyed. Only the master emerald.

With his training from both military and James, his experience, the tech, and all the times he got practice with firing at speedy targets and split second decision making, I could see it, but OOF, Sonic was an ANGY BOI XD

Oh finally I can give my two cents on this as both a Sonic and Star Fox fan. The issue lays in not only the reasoning behind why Fox did it, but also the examples shown in the episode. So, let’s start off with the Sonic side of things. They show that the Emeralds can break because Knuckles shattered the Master Emerald in one punch in Sonic Adventure 2. However, as of Frontiers, we now know that the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds share (likely) different origins, as the Chaos Emeralds came from the Ancients planet, and the Master Emerald was already one Earth when they arrived. Also, thanks to Unleashed and Frontiers, we know how durable the Emeralds are, as they have survived that same fall down to Earth that Sonic did in a depowered state, but in The Final Horizon update against The End, they’re there when Sonic survives an explosion from The End. One that mind you, depowered Super Sonic 2 and base Super Sonic. And they survive without a scratch. So basically the problem is that the evidence they showed for the Chaos Emeralds breaking is the Master Emerald breaking, even though we know they’re likely separate, and they’ve survived way more than whatever damage Fox’s basic blaster could preform. That leads me to the Star Fox side of things. Their argument is that Fox is used to glowy things surrounding someone, and always shoots said glowy things. Which is a neat interaction between the two, but they neglect to bring up that A. Said glowy things are used to attack Fox, not power up the user. And B. They’re always stationary, at least with the example shown with the battle against the Aparoid controlled General Pepper in Star Fox Assault. The Chaos Emeralds always spin around Sonic when he’s using them, and they never take that long to turn him into Super Sonic, getting ever faster up until he transforms. Essentially Fox would have no time to shoot down all of them and a basic blaster wouldn’t be able to either. I could see the argument made if it was the Demon Launcher or Demon Sniper, but still.
